Sharon Shannon returns with ‘RENEGADE’ her first studio album since 2003. Joining her at the core of this project are Michael McGoldrick of Fused and Capercaillie on flute and whistles and his fiddle player partner Dezi Donnelly. Completing the quartet is Sharon’s longtime guitarist Jim Murray.
Renegade showcases her constantly expanding musical landscape and her ability to cross over in new musical genres. Joining her at the core of this project are Manchester's Michael McGoldrick of Fused and Capercaillie on flute and whistles and his fiddle player partner Dezi Donnelly. Completing the quartet is Sharon's longtime guitarist Jim Murray . Sharon called on various members of her big band and some old friends and new, to complete the stellar line-up of contributors.
