Malachy Bourke is from Galway and moved to Dublin in the mid 90’s, where he met Dublin piper Donnacha Dwyer.
They have been playing together for the past 10 years. Malachy’s father Brian on bodhran joins them on this c.d.
The music on this c.d. is just good old fashioned honest bouncing rhythmical traditional music and both musicians play together very well.
If you’re a fan of some of the “flashy” over produced “groovey woovey” trad that’s all too common these days then maybe this album is not for you, but if your sick of that stuff get this c.d.!
